Went down for an interview at Raffles place. This time is an interview with the conmpany - The Bank of East Asia Limited. This is through another agency. R.E (not the actual name) does not seem to live up to its name.
I was abit lost in finding the place. Course the person said the building is behind Republic Plaza. So after reaching the back of the Plaza, I cant seem to find the building. Left with no choice, I have to seek help from the passer by. Even though, I make a point to reach there earlier, but then, as an street idoit, I managed to reach the company on time.
I was abit disappointed with the appearance of the company. Their operations office -those that you come in contact with the bank tellers, was so nice. But when I took the lift, I was already disappointed. The lift was not big and not so class as well. So went up to the office, was not what I expected. The toilet also not that nice. I guess only my inter company has the best appearance in terms of building and people.
Had an interview by the Fianace Dept. She sae some of her company things to me. The job scope. Finally she asked if wheather I had any qns. Actually I dun reali have any qns. But then to appear interested in the job, I have to ask. So I asked about their curency in their f/s. She seemed quite pleased. But then it can be fake cos they are quite experienced in interviewing others. Even if, they are not pleased, they would still smiled.
The interview ended in half an hour time. I had trouble finding my way back to the MRT station. On my way, I see that there isn't much eatries around to accomodate our budget. (I'm thinking of food already. Heex...)
In less than an hour time, the agency called back. I was thinking that this agency still got followed-up with their canidates. What good service they provide. I dim know that I was recurited. Below is the converation I had with the agency.
Agency (A): How was the interview?
Me (M): Erm... Okie I guess.
A: Did they tell you about their job scope?
M: Ya... (In fact, she explained alot to me though I couldn't understand all of them)
A: So, are you interested?
M: Ya. (This is a bank. After I leave, this will look good on my resume)
A: You are shortlisted by them. Congratulations. When could you start work? Tml?
M: Tml I cant.
A: How about fri? You still have your weekends with you...
M: I perferred to start on monday.
A: Why ah? (she is pressing me)
M: Personals matters (actually is cos I dun like to start bu san bu si)
A: Erm... okie... I will check with them and get back to you.
She called later on. I guessed they reali need people urgently. So I guessed I will be quite busy there. Hope the people there will be nice.

Received a call from Zy and we both discovered that we went for the same interview. She is just behind me. And guess what? Both of us are recurited. Ho Ho Ho... Friends woking in the same company. I have a friend there. Isn't wonderful. Found out form her that there are altogether 22 people applied for this job. I dim know that it is so competitive. And of these 22 people, only 4 are being recurited. I'm so lucky.

Received a call from MNC. She sounds quite interested in my resume. But then when she knows that I have a job offer already, she is abit angry. Course its I have wasted her time. But her voice sounds so nice. And her accent is abit american. I was abit awarkaward in my english. After that I went to hide from resume. She called later. Now I see that she is very interested in my resume. Furthermore, its located in JE - near to my house. A perm job some more. Waiting for her call.
I'm in dilema now.
